Oshwal College is a tertiary institution established in 1992 and located in 2nd Avenue, Parklands, Nairobi. It is part of a huge group of schools at multiple age levels owned and managed by a charity in Kenya known as the Oshwal Education and Relief Board (OERB).

Admissions are open to all nationalities, gender and religious backgrounds. Additionally, international admissions are allowed with the college providing facilitation for the immigrating student’s pass. Admission is however subject to the prequalification requirements of the courses in question and for the international students, it’s also subject to study permit issuance by the immigration ministry. The school also insists on passports that have more than 6 months’ validity for Non-Kenyan Students among other merits in order for a student to be provided with the provisional admission letter.

Oshwal College provides a variety of courses including ACCA, ABE, Pearson, CFA, CIPS courses and also has a partnership with the University of Greenwich for the BSc. (Hons) Computing Programme. The computing programme course requirements are set by the University of Greenwich. The schools focus is diverse but mostly vested in areas of Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Information Technology. These are examined by the independent institutions that Oshwal College have accreditation with.

In 2012, Oshwal College was awarded the prestigious global ACCA Platinum Status in recognition of its efforts to give the best education to its students, and has kept that status since then. That award has made Oshwal College became the 2nd institution to have such a status among the 115 ACCA platinum institutions globally, 6 regionally and 3 nationally.

Through Oshwal College’s partnership with industry players, the students have been able to get scholarships, sponsorships, and internship and job placements. To further motivate the students, the institution has facilities to help its population. These include computer, library, free WiFi, and transportation for commute to and from the town center.

Oshwal College aspires to disseminate quality information by proper management of its resources, and facilitate study and research by maintaining a conducive environment, user education on information impact literacy, technology inclusion across institutional management from their library and enhance student drive for research and innovation. Other than academics the Oshwal College has created a Recreation Centre with in-indoor games and for sports that require more space the college uses other public places within the city. To limit the students’ time out of the institution, the college has a cafeteria that serves a quality and well balanced diet.
