Shamberere Technical Training Institute was established
in 1982.It was later upgraded to a youth polytechnic to
offer technical courses to residents of Kakamega region
especially the youth.the institute has the following
departments:
(a)Agriculture
(b)Business
(c)Engineering
(d)Information Communication Technology(ICT)
(e)Institutional Management
