Admission Criteria

To be eligible for direct entry into this course, students require: 

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE ) or its Equivalent with minimum aggregate of C+ (plus)  
  • C+ in each of the following subjects; English/Kiswahili, Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 

Inservice( Upgrading) 
  • Kenya Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent 
  • Mean grade of C or Division II in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a health care institution following NCK registration

Detailed course information

This Bachelor of Science programme is offered on-campus at the Kenya Methodist University and extends for a period of not less than four academic years (12 trimesters/Full Time Mode). Following graduation, students will be required to undertake a one year internship in NCK approved institutions.
