This four year Bachelor degree has been designed to produce knowledgeable, caring, and competent graduates who are well-prepared to practice medicine under supervision as interns, and subsequently to commence post-graduate vocational training in any area of the field they please. Taken on campus at Moi University this programme uses a combination of teaching approaches including clinical teaching in hospitals, clinics, and general practice surgeries, to prepare confident students who can contribute effectively to the field of healthcare upon graduation.

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for this course, students must have either: 
  • A minimum KSCE Mean Grade of B+ with a B+ in Biology and Chemistry and either Maths/Physics and English/Kiswahili 
  • Have principal A Level passes in Biology, Chemistry and Maths/Physics. Additionally, students must have a credit pass at English at O'Levels 
  • A Diploma, BSc or Masters degree in related subjects IF the above stipulations are met. 

  • Students with other qualifications MUST have their results equated by the KNEC 
  • Students must be proficient in English 
  • Student must provide a one page personal statement indicating their motivation to apply for the programme
