The program’s accelerated executive format is especially geared toward working professionals, specifically customized to equip HR managers with the tools to meet effectively the challenges of an ever-changing business climate.
The Graduate programmes created a strong need for a programme that meets the needs of fresh schools leavers interested in pursuing careers in this field. The B.Sc in HRM curriculum provides advanced education in recruitment, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, career development, health and safety, and labor relations. A firm foundation in employment law is provided, in order to assist HR managers in dealing with the increasing legal and regulatory requirements of their field.

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management of Moi University seeks to prepare students for careers in Human Resource Management both in private and public sector. To improve on its utility of its human resources, the programme has been and will continuously be re-designed to be consistent with ever changing needs of the society.
To enhance self-confidence and ability to critically evaluate Management issues from academic and practical perspectives.
To develop awareness of the changing local and international business environment.
To prepare students for advancement in Human Resource Management.
To instill problem solving attitude and business ethics in practice of Human Resource.
To inculcate entrepreneurial and self-reliance, attitudes and habits in students so that they may be active participants in the creation of new wealth
Enhance the capabilities of the students in management decision-making and policy implementation.

In addition to meeting the minimum entrance requirements for Moi University, candidates must: Have at least a C+ in English, a C+ in Kiswahili, a C in Mathematics, at least a B in any subject in group III and a B in any subject in group IV or VI at K. C. S. E
Candidates with diploma qualifications from recognized institutions in Public Relations, Human Resource Development, Education, and any other relevant areas will also qualify for admission.
Candidates with at least two principals at A level in either sciences or arts subjects obtained in the same sitting may also be admitted.
Admission may also be granted to candidates with equivalent alternative qualification as above on the recommendation of the school subject to the approval of the Senate.
Or any other qualification recognized by Senate as equivalent to the above
