Certificate in Journalism and Media Studies

Zetech University’s Certificate in Journalism and Media Studies is a 8 months long, full-time, on-campus course that is designed to provide graduates with relevant knowledge and skills to take up careers in the Journalism and Media sector. The course seeks to produce highly motivated and qualified trainees who can be easily absorbed in the contemporary media and communications industry. The student is introduced to the history of media and how it connects with the modern day industry. The course also includes both theory and technical/practical aspects complete with industrial attachment. Students get to specialise in Broadcast, Print, Advertising and Public Relations. 

The Certificate in Journalism and Media Studies targets trainees who have a desire to progress in journalism or any communication sequence. The courses seeks to build a strong foundation that can help the trainee build upon as he/she seeks other higher platforms of learning. After successful completion of the course, the trainees will be able to work in media houses and other communication based office.
