This one year Diploma has been designed to produce professionals in education who can identify and assess the needs, problems, and potentials of children with special needs, and provide the necessary psychosocial and psycho-educational interventions. Taken on-campus at Maseno University, this course will allow teacher candidates to work closely with students of all ages, studying the developmental stages, and instructing in a variety of group settings, to ensure that they are able to demonstrate the compassion, empathy, and understanding necessary within this field.
