Course Overview

This four week course has been designed to equip learners with creative skills in flower arrangement, decor, and draping, to suit all different types of events, whether they're big, small, social, personal, or business events. Taken on campus, students will gain theoretical knowledge and hands on experience regarding the elements and principles of design, how to use the flowers and foliage available in their area, the  mechanics of arranging flowers in cases, and as a hand-held bouquet.

A floral designer is a professional who uses plants and flowers to create arrangements for events such as weddings, funerals, banquets and other occasions. You need a creative eye, a strong sense of artistry, and a love for working with people at some of the most emotional times of their lives to thrive in this position.
