The aim of this course is to train highly qualified personnel who can: 

  • Apply ground handling principles of air cargo.
  • Critically analyse the technical characteristics of aircrafts as they relate to air cargo planning, operations, and revenue management. 
  • Evaluate the basics of cargo management. 
  • Meet the international airport standards and regulations for the growing Freight and Forwarding industry.
  • Ensure efficiency, safety and security of the airport and cargo transportation as per the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Federation of Freight Forwarders (FIATA.)

This two year diploma is conducted on-campus at our Air Travel and Related Studies Centre. By combining theory with guaranteed work placements, students are provided with a comprehensive learning experience that extends well beyond the classroom.

What are the admission criteria?

A career in air cargo management is a rewarding and exciting one. In order to be considered for admission to this program, students must: 

  • Have a KCSE or equivalent.

Early application and enrolment is advised on all our courses, due to a high level of demand. To apply, you must: 

  • Fill in an application form before the admission date
  • Bring your KCSE Certificate and all other relevant documents to our main campus

The course fee for this program is 90,000 KES per semester.
