Course Introduction

The Diploma in International Food Production develops students’ contemporary skills in food preparation and kitchen management through hands-on training and classroom learning. Over the course of two years, students will acquire all the fundamental skills necessary to work in the world’s finest dining establishments in one of the fastest-growing industries. 

Working in the ever-expanding food service industry is a challenging and financially-rewarding experience. If you're interested in entering this sector, our on-campus course will introduce you to the exciting world of food production through basic operation techniques and hands-on core competency training. For nine months, students are trained theoretically in areas of food production, followed by a three month mandatory work placement for an opportunity to work in real time situations that will enhance your practical skills and confidence. 

 Upon completion of this programme, you'll receive a Diploma in International Food Production.

Industrial attachment
We guarantee a 9 months industrial attachment organized in two sessions of three months and six months.

Food Production is a creative, exciting and rewarding career. In order to be considered for admission to this programme, students must: 

  • Have a KCSE Certificate or the equivalent
