This program aims to equips graduates with entrepreneurial and Management knowledge with holistic and analytical skills for explaining and predicting business conditions and enable organizations to be more adaptive to competitive business environments. Specifically the programme has the following objectives:
To provide a rigorous and critical grounding in key generic areas of management;
To enhance ability to evaluatebusiness from an academic and practical perspective;
To create awareness of the changing local and international business environment;
To instill a professional and problem-solving attitude in the practice of
management; develop the essential skills and knowledge to deal with quality, change and employment issues facing contemporary organizations.
To provide an opportunity to the student to study in depth and breath the theoretical and practical implications of ordinary and extraordinary management in various environmental settings
The common University rules and regulations for the Masters Degree programme specified in the kisii University statutes shall be applicable.
In addition to (4.1) above, a holder of a lower second class honours degree from a recognised university with at least two (2) years relevant work experience or equivalent professional qualifications in Supplies and Purchasing, Logistics, Stores and Warehousing Management, shall be eligible for admission for the Master of Entrepreneurship (ENTR) programme.
