Mathematics Tutorials

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Physics. The department is under the Faculty of Applied and Health Sciences and is mandated to service Mathematics and Physics courses in various departments within the University at degree, diploma and certificate levels. Since Mathematics is a core subject in many careers, the Department also offers a one semester upgrading course in Mathematics or Physics for candidates who desire to improve their grades in mathematics or Physics. Successful completion of the Upgrading course may enable one to meet the admission requirements to various degree, diploma or certificate courses at the University and in any other learning institution.
The department is currently in the process of developing curricula for two more programmes: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Finance, and Master of Science in Applied Statistics with an objective to support TUM’s vision and mission.
