To candidate in M1 : First year of master :The international Master is open to candidates with at least a scientific Bachelor of Science degreeTo candidate in M2 : Second year of master :The international Master is open to candidates with at least 4 years at university Bachelor or First year of masterWith scientific disciplines such as Nuclear, Chemical and Civil Engineering, Energy, Environmental, Physics, Chemistry.Candidates must have a certificate or other proof of English proficiency (required score: TOEFL ibt 80, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 750, Cambridge)A work experience is not mandatory but is a “plus” for the selectionNo prerequisite in French

Course in English

Sustainable Nuclear Engineering – Applications and Management (SNEAM) is an English taught
international master program. It consists of a two years program with the first year (1st and
2nd semesters) dedicated to base teaching and training (physics of ionizing radiation, radioprotection,
physico-chemistry of environment, introduction to nuclear technology…), and the second year
(3rd semester) is dedicated to 3 specializations: radioactive waste management, nuclear reactors
and industrial applications, and medical applications. The 4th semester consists of the master
thesis project in industry or R&D laboratory. The scientific and technical skills acquired are
complemented with economy and management skills.
This MSc offers 3 specializations for the second year:

- ANWM: Advanced Nuclear Waste Management at Mines Nantes.
- NEPIA: Nuclear Energy Production and Industrial Applications
- RIA: Ionizing Radiation and Medical Physics
