College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences is the centre of the University of Nairobi that teaches veterinary medicine and various disciples in agriculture. The undergraduate courses taught in its faculties include Agriculture, Management of Agroecosystems and Environment, Food Science and Technology, Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, Range Management, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Education and Extension, Crop Protection, Biomedical Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Wildlife Management and Animal Health and Production.

What are the admission criteria?The common regulations governing postgraduate diploma in all Faculties/Institutes/Schools of the University of Nairobi shall apply.
The minimum requirements for eligibility into the postgraduate Diploma in AICM are:
Holders of at least upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in any discipline from a university recognized by senate.
Holders of at least lower second class Honours degree or equivalent in any discipline from a university recognized by senate with at least two years relevant experience.
Holders of a pass degree or equivalent in any discipline from a university recognized by senate with at least 3 years relevant experience.
