ABOUT KENYA CHRISTIAN INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE (KCITI) - EASTLEIGH CAMPUS
The Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute (KCITI) is a Kenyan non-governmental organization (NGO) specializing in providing young people with a high-quality technical education in a Christian environment at the lowest possible cost. The institution prides itself in having fees which are only a fraction of other colleges in Nairobi.
The main campus is situated on five landscaped acres at the east end of Fifth Street in Eastleigh Section II. Courses offered include bible courses, extra-curricular activities, sports and cultural programs. Kenya Industrial Training institute is a whole-life environment where the student can develop his or her spiritual and intellectual potential. Some of the courses offered in the institution include: Technician Certificate in Solar Installation Technology (Solar Installation Technology), Motor Vehicle Mechanics Course (MVM), Diploma in Information Technology (Information Technology), Diploma in Electronics Engineering (Electronics Engineering), Craft Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Technology (Power/Telecommunication Option), Certificate in Sports Administration and Management (Sports Administration and Management), Certificate in Software Engineering (Software Engineering), Certificate in Electrical Installation (Electrical Installation), Certificate in Computer Programming (Computer Programming), Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Engineering), Artisan Certificate in Motor Vehicle Electrician Grade III, II & I.
The College provides vocational technical education with emphasis on job creation to students from economically disadvantaged families. It has consistently maintained course fees that are typically less than the fees charged by other technical colleges in Nairobi. The cost of large capital developments at the institution such as buildings and major equipment purchases are met by charitable organizations, foundations and well-wishers.

In the recent past the institute’s equipment has been modern and functional, and to maintain this edge the school constantly upgrades the labs, workshops and equipment. Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute has a full range of activities to give the student a complete college experience. These range from competitive sports, various clubs, music and drama. Members of the Presidential Award Scheme in the school are active in community service projects.
