The need for business, management, accountancy and banking courses has been increasing rapidly among the school leavers and those already working in the corporate sector. Demand for manpower with a financial background, has also been on the rise and given that institutions offering banking courses are few in the country, to bridge the gap, KIFAM was established as an institute to offer the solution.
Kenya Institute of Finance and Applied Management (KIFAM) is known to consistently provide excellent quality professional training that is in tune with the current market needs, and emerging trends. The higher learning institution has the following faculties: Faculty of Banking and Finance; Faculty of Accountancy; Faculty of Business Management/Administration; Faculty of Secretarial Studies (KNEC); Faculty of Community Development and Social Work; Faculty of Information Communication Technology (ICT); Faculty of Hospitality, Travel and Tours; Faculty of Mass Communication; Faculty of Foreign Languages and Faculty of Distance Learning. Their Distance Learning program ensures their students get the best customized and strategic learning experience for the students’ target career. KIFAM also offers full time classes across Mondays to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm; part-time classes across Mondays to Fridays between 5:30 pm to 7:30 p.m; Saturday classes from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm; Special classes which are set to the early morning, 6:30 am to 8:30; evening classes from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and weekend-intensive classes (Saturday & Sunday) from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
