ABOUT WILDLIFE CLUBS OF KENYA CENTRE FOR TOURISM TRAINING AND RESEARCH
Kenya happens to be among the top hubs of tourism in Africa Due to wildlife, luxurious hotels and conducive climate despite some challenges posed by poaching.It is as a result many institutes have emerged to offer courses related to tourism.Wildlife Clubs of Kenya Centre for Tourism Training and Research offers training for those willing to pursue their career in hospitality.
This institute was established in 1999.It is located at Langata road,next to Bomas of Kenya.
the college offers programs in the areas below:
(i)Wildlife conservation
(ii)Environmental activities
(iii)Ecology
(iv)Conservation education
the college's main mission is to provide conservation education to the youths
and support wildlife clubs through training, information sharing and advocacy.
Entry Requirements:
Diploma course students should have completed one year certificate course in tour guiding at wildlife clubs of Kenya, centre for tourism training and research
Certificate course student must have obtained a principal pass in either history or geography and /or with a minimum of “O” level pass with a C plain, good passes in English, Kiswahili, geography, history, mathematics and biology and have an interest in conservation.
