Course Overview

This course gives students a broad overview of the philosophy and pedagogy of early childhood development and its application to teaching methodology. This includes the Montessori philosophy and presentation of materials in areas such as practical life, sensorial mathematics, language, geography, history, science, and arts. The programme is comprised of one year class work and one year of a field attachment, after which many of our students go on to be hired as regular teachers in these host schools depending on their performance and the impact they make during the time of their attachment.

To apply for this course, students must have a minimum of a KCSE Mean Grade of D+ (Plus)

To apply for this course, students must: 

  • Fill out an application form
  • Provide 2 passport sized photos
  • Provide a copy of their National ID/Passport/Birth Certificate 
  • Pay a 1,750 KSH registration fee

The fee for this course is 19,000 KES per term for 3 terms. These are payable by:
