The four month full-time program is a blend of a CIM UK Professional Marketing Certificate qualification, and homegrown units from ISA that give the individual both the technical and life skills needed to successfully face the world.
The program also comes with a Marketing Project at the tail end, where students are attached to an organisation and based on their learnings, are required to offer solutions and ideas; which are evaluated as part of the overall qualification. The outcome is that individuals develop the appropriate personal, emotional, social and cultural disposition to get ahead one hand; and on the other, the content to enable them perform their roles seamlessly and competently.

Fred N Kamunzyu has over 20 years experience in Sales, Marketing Strategy and Innovation in Kenya and the region. He has worked in senior positions in reputable local and international FMCG companies like Diageo, Eveready and Ketepa, with responsibilities in Kenya and the East African region. He has worked both as a practitioner and then as a facilitator and consultant.
Fred has been involved in training, brand consultancy, business consultancy and marketing consultancy in various sectors like FMCG, NGO, Insurance, Media and Education. His work has contributed to the growth of several notable brands in Kenya and in the region.
• Ali is the Principal, Hussein & Associates, a Digital Transformation Consultancy focused on enabling clients leverage Digital Technologies to achieve Transformational Change in their organizations.
• Ali is also the East Africa Partner of Xterra Capital, a Real Estate Advisory Firm.
• Ali has extensive experience in Strategy, Marketing, CRM, New Media & Business Development in various industries and has assisted blue chip brands in East Africa (Kenya Airways, Nation Media Group, KREP Bank, Jubilee Insurance, KWFT, Gulf African Bank, Standard Chartered and Sameer Investments among others) with their digital strategies.

Susan is a seasoned professional in Marketing and Advertising with proven unquestionable commitment to continuous improvement in the marketing communications industry. She has 20 years’ experience in building local, regional and global brands, cutting across service, B2B, FMCG, NGO and parastatal sectors; having held various leadership positions in Advertising including General Manager of TBWA Redsky ( Scangounp company), Business Unit Director at Ogilvy Advertising and Account Director at TBWA Creative. She had also held brand marketing positions in Mobile Oil and Mabati Rolling Mills.
Susan is currently a co-founder and CEO of The International School of Advertising (ISA- Africa), an institution that transitions graduates into the workplace and self-employment through a program that transforms theory into practice through job specific skills and personal development. She works closely with the industry to improve employability and connecting the youth into careers in marketing communications.
Susan is possesses skills in training, people management, business development and entrepreneurship.
Susan’s passion for professional development is demonstrated in the roles she has held in industry; including heading the training committee of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK), between to 2006. She has also been head of the training sub-committee in the Advertising Practitioners Association (APA) since 2007. Susan holds a Bachelors of Education in Business Studies and Economics from Kenyatta University and a Masters in Strategy and Marketing from Nairobi University. She also holds an executive training qualification in Management Development from Strathmore Business School and Advanced Leadership from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a MCIM qualification.
Jack is a professional web based software developer who also doubles up as an online marketer and content creator with up to eight years in this field. As one of the earliest online marketers in the country, he has worked as a marketing consultant for Gina Din corporate Communications, Imagine IMC and WGS where he handled various brand campaigns for brands, companies and organizations such as AKI, Amarula, Viceroy, Nivea, English Point Marina, Nakumatt, Samsung, CIC Insurance amongst others.
As the founder and CEO of Internet Exposure , he has conducted digital media consultancy at different levels for various organizations and companies including Heineken East Africa Company Limited, Goodlife Pharmacies formerly Mimosa Pharmacy, Prestige Plaza, Two Rivers through PMS Limited, InformAction, CityWalk, Teenwise media among many others.
He is also the brains behind iStats- a local social media listening and benchmarking tool – which releases reports every month on performance of various brands in the country. iStats has big data on various industry categories including banking, insurance, hospitality and tourism, media, academic institutions, government, FMCGs, Energy, Technology among others with data in excess of 10M social media posts in its database. This provides great insights based on real market data for hands-on and proven trends in digital marketing.
He is also an accomplished blogger having won been feted at various awards including SOMA and BAKE Awards in previous years.
