A Master of Laws (LLM) is a degree that is awarded to graduates who already hold a professional law degree, and who have completed advanced education in a specific area of law. Lawyers may choose to pursue a Master’s of law if they wish to gain expertise in a specific sector, advance their careers, or build a strong professional network.
