Zetech University is founded on the passion of a man who sought to enhance computing technology in Kenya at a time when it was fairly new. While still an undergrad studying for his degree, Ken Mbiuki turned his dorm room into a part-time classroom, where he was offering basic IT training to others, under the name Zenith Technologies. He took the idea further and set up an ICT academic institution offering I.T. based courses, which grew to become the accredited Zetech University we know today. 

A fully-fledged chartered university, Zetech University has its main campus off Thika road in Ruiru and stands as a state-of-the-art higher education complex offering certificate, diploma and graduate programmes. The university’s schools of study comprise: School of Business and Economics, Faculty of ICT and Engineering, Department of Hospitality, Tourism, Education and Social Arts, and the Department of Media Arts and Design. The institution's goal is to provide their students with the best selection in advanced ICT learning. They are continuously expanding and improving their programmes to align with global standards and the fast-changing digital world, to ensure they equip their students with world-class ICT knowledge and skills.
