The Faculty of Science plays a pivotal role of ensuring that the University achieves its mandate as a University of Science and Technology. Its programmes are drawn and reviewed regularly to ensure relevance. The Faculty has a mechanism that ensures increased enrolment and quality services in science and technology. We believe in scientific knowledge being essential to sustainable development. We have good industrial and institutional linkages. The Faculty’s strong human resource and ultra-modern laboratory facilities remains our greatest strength.
