They are the university of choice for many Kenyan nationals, international students and researchers.
So what makes JKUAT one of the best universities in Kenya? To start, they were ranked as one of the world’s leading institutions of higher learning by Webometrics, as well as the third best university in Kenya. While on the other academic side, having one of their medical students awarded by the US based Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), as the winner of the Students Projects for Health Competition, for his community initiative that sought to address the burden of malnutrition among children enrolled in early childhood development centers in Kenya.
As Jomo Kenyatta university motto heralds, their institution sets the trend in Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
