Admission Criteria

The common regulations for the Master's degree in all faculties as specified in statutes of Egerton University status shall be applicable. In addition to 1 above, the course shall be open to holders of Bachelor of Science in Animal Production, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine, Postgraduate Diploma in Animal Breeding and any other degree programme deemed relevant by the Department of Animal Sciences from institutions recognized by the Egerton University Senate.A candidate with lower second class and relevant experience and scientific publications in refereed journals may be recommended for admission.In certain situations, the candidate may be required to take some prescribed undergraduate courses in which a pass with a B grade shall be a requirement for granting admission.
