Diploma in Film Production

Thika College Of Banking And Accountancy’s Diploma in Film Production is an on-campus, two years course. The course focuses on providing students with a broad base knowledge of the key organisational strategies pertaining to the art of film making and the principles of film production. 

The Diploma in Film Production programme is designed to include the understanding of screenwriting, production techniques, digital cinematography and editing. The programme provides students with the ability to look into concepts such as the history and evolution of film production, management principles, budgeting concepts and theoretical coneptualisation of films. Students also gain an understanding of what a career in film production and the media industry at large, entails. 

After successful completion of the course, the learners will be able to take up roles in the film and media industry. Graduates of Diploma in Film Production go on to become Film Directors, Broadcast Presenters, Location Managers and Camera Operators. The course equips students with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
