Admission Criteria
- Holders of First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degrees in a Computer Science or IT discipline from recognised universities
- Holders of other related qualifications fromrecognised universities, considered by the Academic Council as equivalent to a First Class or Upper Second Class degree in Computer Science or IT discipline
- Holders of Lower Second Class degrees plus Postgraduate Diploma or Certificates with at least two year’s working experience in a business or research environment.
Exemptions
Exemptions and Credit transfers will be granted at the discretion of the Academic Council and will be no more that 50% of the total course loading.
How do I apply?
- Fill out an application form
- Attend and pass an oral interview and graduate entrance examination (GEE)
- Interviews are held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:00 PM
- Provide:
- 2 passport sized photos
- Copies of certificates
- Two reference letters from academic referees
- Copy of National ID/Passport
- 2000 KSH interview fee

Financing Options
- Strathmore students get loads for Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
- The university also has an arrangement to provide 4 year tuition loans with KIVA. The repayment period for KIVA is five years which commences one year after graduation.
